Google Trends:

Include your topic, and your two brands.  Include the search terms with your screen capture.

Google Trends Insights:

Provide Insights.  Include one to two sentences in your own words that outlines the topic and the two brands you compared.  Discuss the results you obtained from Google Trends.  What observations can you make about the search interest in this topic over the past 12 months?

·       Throughout the years of 2012 and 2013 both Cadbury and Toblerone have been doing the same in the chocolate industry. However, in the middle of 2015 Toblerone had a major increase compared to Cadbury.

Latent Semantic Indexing Keywords:

Generate a list of LSI keywords from the LSIGraph Keyword Generator.  Search your sites and identify any LSI Keywords that you can find on either of your brands’ sites.  Target at least 3 per brand.

Cadbury Chocolates

·       Cadbury products

·       Cadbury dairy milk chocolate

·       Cadbury chocolate factory

Toblerone

·       Toblerone UK

·       Toblerone flavors

·       Toblerone ingredients

Summary:

Cadbury’s strengths are it has a strong SEO when it comes to keywords, and is strong when it comes to SEO audit categories since most of the categories are easy to find on its home page.

Toblerone’s strengths are its website has minimal text which makes it more attractive for viewers and allows the audience to easily read it or to view the website.

Areas that need improvement: Both Cadbury and Toblerone has areas for improvement. However, Toblerone has more areas when comparing it to Cadbury for improvements. There was a lot missing in the audit. I believe if Toblerone fixes these areas their website would be more efficient.

Conclusion:

Include a conclusion that outlines which brand has the strongest SEO and performed best though the audit.  Were there any surprises?

·       To conclude, the brand that has the strongest SEO was Cadbury and performed best throughout the audit. I was not surprised from these results since Cadbury is a larger company with many different products associated with the company.

Blog Post #5 - Content Marketing Idea for The Hershey Company

This is a student-concept for a Sheridan Pilon School of Business Digital Marketing Course. Since Hershey posts a lot of baking recipes on their Facebook, my idea would to make a contest out of it for consumers to enjoy. The audience is for anyone between the ages of 10-50, but the main focus is to get the audience to bake their sweets with loved ones. The audience is asked to make a baked good (using any of the Hershey Company’s products) and take the sweetest picture with them and their loved ones and their finished product. The audience will then be asked to 1) Like and Follow HERSHEY’s on Facebook and 2) Post the picture on Facebook, while using the hashtag #HersheyLove and 5 winners can win a trip for four to the Hershey Park in Hershey, Derry Township, Pennsylvania. The goal is to get 200 likes and followers on the HERSHEY’s Facebook page, and 200 participants in the contest. This contest will be launched in the beginning of March so the contest can run for a mon...

Blog Post #5: Marketing Content Idea for One of the Brands

Ferrero Rocher vs. Nutella  Who are you creating this campaign for (which brand)?   I am creating this campaign for Ferrero Rocher since they could improve more on their social media activity. What is your idea? My Idea for Ferrero Rocher is to become more active on their Twitter page by launching a contest that requires people to use the hashtag #FerreroMovement . With this hashtag, people are required to come up with creative ways that they can use Ferrero Rocher in their lives and how it is incorporated in their daily life. The idea also consists of the company creating a blog where many of these participants' picture tagged with #FerreroMovement would be featured. Who is your audience? The audience would be anyone around the world who has an interest in chocolate, and wants a chance to win at something. It also targets people that have interest in picture taking and blogging.  What will it look like? (Create mock-ups, posters, infographics o...
