Blog #5 Cadbury vs Toblerone – Content Marketing idea for one of your brands Who are you creating this campaign for (which brand)?   I am creating this campaign for Toblerone Chocolate since they can improve more on social media especially YouTube. What is your idea? My idea for Toblerone Chocolate is to make a YouTube channel that could advertise their brand and also have little cooking videos that displays way on making desserts using Toblerone Chocolate. Who is your audience? The audience would be anyone who has an interest in cooking/baking and who likes Toblerone chocolate and those who would like to get creative by making baked goods using the chocolate. Blog #3 Cadbury vs Toblerone on YouTube How often does each brand post a new video? Cadbury is somewhat active on YouTube, especially when they advertise their chocolate for the UK. The last video that they posted was 2 weeks ago; they post at least one video each week. Toblerone unfortunately does not have an official YouTube channel. However other accounts that are verified have posted Toblerone chocolate on their channel but not very often. The last video that was posted was 3 months ago.   What kind of video content does each brand post (commercials, celebrity spots, how-to’s, news, industry related events, music videos, etc.) The type of video content that the brand post are little 5 seconds commercials for their “The sound of Cadbury Diary Milk” campaign. Blog #2 Cadbury vs Toblerone on Twitter How often does each brand posts? Cadbury is very active on Twitter. They post or retweet a couple times a day, at least 3 times daily. Weekdays and weekends are mostly the same when it comes to them posting on Twitter. Toblerone is moderately active on Twitter. They post sometimes a couple times a day on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day or on normal days they would post once a day of even once every other day. What kind of content does each brand post? Cadbury post are mostly comments, replying to other individuals on twitter. By the looks of it on their Facebook page they most likely post something once a month or on special occasions such as the Canadian Olympics since they were considered as a sponsorship for that event. Cadbury’s last post on Facebook was January 6 th , 2017. Toblerone is quite active on Facebook. They would post something every day or even on every other day. Especially on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day they would have more than one post daily. What is your idea? My Idea for Ferrero Rocher is to become more active on their Twitter page by launching a contest that requires people to use the hashtag #FerreroMovement . With this hashtag, people are required to come up with creative ways that they can use Ferrero Rocher in their lives and how it is incorporated in their daily life.
